At Apps Physiotherapy we are lucky enough to work with some great individuals, see below for their feedback on our work with them.

Having used Apps physio today I’ve finally got round to writing a review. This is the third time I’ve seen Sophie in the last 12 months and every time I receive the same highly professional warm service. Sophie spent time asking questions and listening to understand exactly what issues I was having, she understood exactly what the problem was and had already started diagnosing what was wrong from our conversation. We looked at strength and flexibility before Sophie worked on the problem area. I’ve left feeling reassured with some exercises and a plan for the next stage of my recovery.
Sophie has a great ability to get on with anyone. Chatting, listening and working on my aches at the same time. She is warm, approachable highly experienced and professional. I’d recommend Apps Physio to anyone as I’m confident that you’ll be just as happy with the outcome as I am.

I’m an amateur runner with not much experience and recently I had a few running related injuries.
I had 3 physiotherapy sessions at Apps Physiotherapy over the last 3 months to treat Iliotibial Band Syndrome and a minor calf strain
After the initial session my injuries have been assessed and treated with massage.
I have been suggested ad hoc exercises and a structured training pattern in order to facilitate recovery and prevent further problems.
The environment is relaxed, Sophie is very friendly and at the same time she extremely professional.
She always tries to meet patient’s needs and doesn’t try to “sell” you more than you actually need.
I would strongly recommend Apps Physiotherapy

Sophie has a very sympathetic and empathetic nature and using her extensive knowledge works well with you to determine the injury cause,
so that she can develop the right treatment and rehab program for you. My injuries were calf and hamstring related brought on by short hip flexors and weak glutes.

After some initial treatments which involved massage we spent less time on the treatment table and more time concentrating on developing the right conditioning techniques to gain strength in the weak areas. These weaknesses consequently turned into strengths to prevent me re-injuring myself and successfully being able to run confidently. I am so thankful that I had Sophie as my Physio, who was able to give the right treatment and advice to get me through this.

The bottom line is that Sophie fixed me up. She quickly appraised my knee injury sustained running and worked with me to devise a realistic plan through sessions with her and training on my part. To add some context this was less than 2 months out from the marathon, which I ran normally and have since recovered from with no ill effects – in 3 hours and 6 minutes. On top of the obvious skill in her work is an infectious positivity that really makes a difference when injury is getting you down. I put my faith in Sophie and it entirely paid off, my training saw me through the race, but it was thanks to Sophie that I got to the start line, I would recommend her to any of my running friends.

I first started seeing Sophie about 2 years ago due to weakness in my knee and hamstrings. Since then I have been able to strengthen both and compete in various different races injury free. This ranges from a local 10k race right up to Ironman Triathlon. I now make sure I have a regular sports massage once a month with her and this now forms a fundamental part of my training. She is quick to identify and treat any slight tightness or issues I have. Sometimes without me even identifying or noticing them myself. It’s this attention to detail and professionalism that makes me always go to her rather than anyone else.
— Jon, Ironman distance Triathlete
Sophie helped me recover from a serious whiplash injury just four months before a non-stop cycle race across Europe. This kind of ultra-distance riding is well known for punishing even healthy necks and a common reason for failing to finish. Two weeks and 4,000km later it was only my butt that hurt. My neck was as fresh as the day the race started.

As a recreational activity enthusiast I never thought I would need a Physio. However a few I suffered from very tight calves and hamstrings. Sophie sorted it out in no time and by continuing to do the stretches and exercises that she gave me this has helped me to maintain flexibility and keep the tightness at bay. Her knowledge and treatment was second to none. I highly recommend her. 5 stars!!!

I first received physiotherapy from Sophie about 3 years ago in relation to arthritis problems I was having, which helped a lot. I have continued to see Sophie periodically for various aches and pains. She has educated me on how to help manage these issues. I have always found Sophie to be very professional with a caring and cheerful nature. Home visits are an added bonus for me. Keep up the good work!
