''I first started seeing Sophie about 4 years ago due to weakness in my knee and hamstrings. Since then I have been able to strengthen both and compete in various different races injury free. This ranges from a local 10k race right up to Ironman Triathlon. I now make sure I have a regular sports massage once a month with her and this now forms a fundamental part of my training. She is quick to identify and treat any slight tightness or issues I have. Sometimes without me even identifying or noticing them myself. “The bottom line is that Sophie fixed me up. She quickly appraised my knee injury sustained running and worked with me to devise a realistic plan through sessions with her and training on my part. To add some context this was less than 2 months out from the marathon, which I ran normally and have since recovered from with no ill effects – in 3 hours and 6 minutes. On top of the obvious skill in her work is an infectious positivity that really makes a difference when injury is getting you down. I put my faith in Sophie and it entirely paid off, my training saw me through the race, but it was thanks to Sophie that I got to the start line, I would recommend her to any of my running friends.”

“I’m an amateur runner with not much experience and recently I had a few running related injuries.
I had 3 sessions at Apps Physiotherapy over the last 3 months to treat Iliotibial Band Syndrome and a minor calf strain. After the initial session my injuries have been assessed and treated with massage.
I have been suggested exercises and a structured training pattern in order to facilitate recovery and prevent further problems.
The environment is relaxed, Sophie is very friendly and at the same time she extremely professional.
She always tries to meet patient’s needs and doesn’t try to “sell” you more than you actually need. I would strongly recommend Apps Physiotherapy”
